Just a recommendation: great talks from the TED conference are now freely available.

I just watched Ze Frank and he is hilarious as always (to me, at least). Go have a look, it's only 18 minutes.

You might also want to check out Malcom Gladwell.

Plus, you can just get the audio if you want. I just downloaded Peter Donnelly (How juries are fooled by statistics), Helen Fisher (The science of love, and the future of women) and Jane Goodall (What separates us from the apes?) to my ipod :-)
